OK.  So every office has some office chatter right?  Well we dont let the chatter consume our work day, so if we hear one thats down right funny, well just post it here

1. What does this company do?
We are a software development firm that actually enjoys our work because were good at it.  Our clients enjoy our energy and passion to create amazing products and we do that.  We create and maintain lifelong relationships because we grow with our clients.

 

2. What is your specialty?
We are a Microsoft development shop.  We also are one of the largest premier developers on the iPhone platform in the DC area.  We bring creativity to our designs and development and our clients reap the benefit.

 

3. What would be my daily duties?
Your technical contributions are obvious.  In addition each team member is expected to do the following:
-Meeting daily with various business owners and/or potential clients to present them with services our Fortune 50 clients provide

-Be passionate about your work
-Assisting in the daily operation of the company
-Developing strong leadership skills to build a high performance, cross-functional team environment
-Managing external customer needs
-Developing excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

 

4. What is the advantage for a client to use your service?
For clients that have never had a true technology outsource partner, we offer them a service that is more cost effective and delivers far more than could be expected from internal efforts.  Clients that have an internal technical team find that our team will out-perform theirs.

There is more to the claim than the growing business trend towards outsourcing and the extraordinary popularity of face-to-face technology efforts. We pride ourselves on our ability to adapt to changes in the business world and evolve to meet whatever challenges face us. Free thinking and questions are encouraged. We are constantly collecting feedback from our clients and improving everything within our own power. Every week, the entire office will sit down as a group to address current issues. Problems are resolved as a group and decisions are shared, not handed down.

 

10. What are you looking for in a candidate?
We are looking for ambitious, charismatic individuals capable of excelling in a business, leadership, and technical position. Experience is helpful, but complete training is provided.  Attitude is key.

Seeking the next Picasso.  There are some web designers who know a little print. And some print designers who know a little web. Perhaps we are being a little greedy...but we want it all! Are you that special "jack of all trades" designer who can do both web work and print work with equal fluency? If yes, we want you to come work for us!

 

We are looking for a bright, motivated and creative designer to join our award winning team.  Ability to design everything from banner ads, website graphics and full web pages.  Ability to provide clean HTML code to our programmers for implementation on to our sites.  Other abilities like animation and programming a plus.  Capable of designing everything from postcards, flyers and full scale catalogs.  You should know InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, etc. since birth.

Seeking an amped developer with a need for speed.  You own mobile application development on one or more of the following platforms: J2ME (+/- Blackberry JDE), Windows Mobile, iPhone (Cocoa), or Android and can demonstrate that you have delivered. 

 

Be familiar with the location/GPS APIs on mobile platforms, including their various strengths and weaknesses.  Know the difference between a good interface design and one that would actually make your mama proud.

Seeking a seasoned code shredder looking to jump start their career.  You should be a black belt in SQL, ASP.Net, AJAX/Atlas, Java Script, VB Script, C#, XML, and Crystal Reports.  Our clients are demanding and your peers will be even more so. 

 

Responsibilities include but not limited to: designing and developing new sub portions of a complex software system, and enhancing and fixing its components. Experience in leading a team of software developers; solving varied software related problems; reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design; experience in the development of application software for complex systems;  experience with performing system integration and testing on large and small platforms; experience with a variety of advanced concepts, practices with procedural and object oriented software development methodologies, web services development, database manipulation and configuration management.
